RESPONSIBILITY
I am responsible.
When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of AA always to be there. And for that: I am responsible.

Thanks for your interest in being there for those who reach out to us, whether it be for meeting information, someone to talk to or visit, or anything in between,
We provide two main ways to serve here: Phone Answering and Outreach. These are two separate functions/services, reason being that the first priority of those who answer phone is...well...to answer the phones. It is not always possible for them to have extended conversations with those in need. And, needless to say, those who answer phones cannot go on 12-Step calls during their shift*.
PHONE ANSWERING
• “We answer the phone. We reach out the hand of A.A. We share our experience, strength, and hope.”
• Calls made to Seattle Intergroup are [answered by volunteers**] or [forwarded to volunteer phones]
OUTREACH
• Extended sharing of experience, strength, and hope over the phone and possibly arrange/travel to engage in 12-Step calls*
In regards to this form, please rest assured that your information is for internal use only and will not be shared with anyone else, anytime, for any other reason.
While both Groups** and Individuals may participate in Day shifts, only Individuals may particpate at Night. Please choose one below to get started. (You may fill out multiple forms)...
*GSIG does not arrange or participate in 12-Step calls from 10pm-10am. Any requests for face-to-face meetings made during these hours will be forwarded for follow up by the Day shift the following day.
** Groups normally answer phones at the GSIG office. (This may be more flexible during the Covid-19 crisis.)
